With the continuous in-depth research on the pathogenesis of chronic subdural hematoma(CSDH), new progress has been made in surgery and drug therapy. This article will review the predisposing factors, pathophysiology and treatment of CSDH, describe the latest progress of CSDH, and provide new theories for clinical treatment.
